I wish to know if currently is a dedicated 2d/3d view active in main window or any cameras?

Sounds are drastically different in that cases so it is important to know. Most effective is an event to inform me from this.

There is a partial solution for this:
layout.activeCameras[0] is the camera of the main window.
If it is not a camera but a standard 2d/3d view than this function returns nil.
