See this:

Step 1: "not connected" vehicles are right to left, first is slow, last is fast. All couplers and smooth off.

Step 2: turnout is changed. First vehicle moves all other "not connected" vehicle to other route:

a switch point doesn't solve your problem, Leslie

The vehicles are not coupled, but they behave like one consist (one train) at switch points.

I tried getVehicleGroup() for this and failed. All groups are from 1 members.

I am not use couplers so there is not grouped vehicles? Even if they are compressed and moving together?

Then what is getVehicleGroup() for? And how to determine whether if vehicles are compressed together?
