Creative auto snapping
Layout are published on Anlagen. I will write down the problems in connection of this: - @Neo please place a "ground" to online catalog. Currently is missing although it is an essential component. - please re-consider "snap to ground" method. Currently is "snap to ground level" so can not work any other circumstances. This greatly hardens creating in some cases. I suggest to snap exactly to the nearest ground object. - please check behaviour of water. Currently it is snapped to horizontal so any other circumstances it causes a bizarre effect. This is great and futuristic so I recommend a new component for this - but it is definitely not water. - please reduce twisting of any tracks to max. 180 degree. Currently sometimes 3 full circle so this is ruins all creating.

I try to auto-snap tracks then the results as shown: This is not lap, program twists rails for 3x. Is this normal? Soon I will publish all layout if I figured correct connections.

Track as waypoint
I think there is worth re-think thoughts sometimes. I have come here for trains only. But I created 2 train layouts so far and 2 for buses... and spent app. 10* time for buses and this continues now. Much more complex and interesting. Train layouts are ready, I think while buses always has something new. This expand my abilities and - if you also wish - this studio too. Also this studio attracts X people now. If spreads then it so flexible than possible creating road tracks too with eligible level - it shall attract 1,5*X people. I think it worth simple development with this philosophy.

Hello, vehicle often move to a road, no need to send it a specific region of that road. Please allow tracks become a waypoint. Also allow vehicles become a waypoint to create vehicle or drone swarm. Thank you in advance.

Route fitting in MBS
At the road end generally has no 32 other road line at near. So the problem is not so big. I think machine work can get by machines and creative part remains for humans. Not too fun to compute road lines, curves and fitting manually for 3 digits, when program can not show correct fit also. So this require long testing each line separatedly.

But I wish to use joints! Event starts only at line end like now. But it is true: more work than now. --- Than anoter opinion: roads remain like now. But editor changes drastically: if you invoke a road editor than it starts MBS program (session) instead, when layout terrain is the selected road and you can use elements to manipulate. Restricted element set, e.g. not moving and can not invoke new editor. All other editor properties are available like gizmos and snapping. This drastically increase and ease creating.

Hello, the connected picture shows route fitting in MBS:Upper picture contains 3 routes which can be combined but need strict to fit. Lower picture contains 2 routes which allows you much more freedom in planning but does not work currently. I suggest to re-think philosophy if possible. Working method: at route end program searches for free route at near. Not only free route edge. Of course if you are near to the edge, fitting must be pull you there so edge snapping will not change.

How about translateZ function? It seems Object.transformation:translateZ(1) do the same job. Much easier.

Hello, @Tűzharcos I thought it is function but better modell request: I wish to read traffic arrow signals for which good method is an event during crossing them. Direction also necessary. Like track contacts but visible. Also wish read its variations (at least its number), it is needed for traffic. Thank you in advance!

This must be. Routes with track contact here are not cost-efficiently. But I think I figured out error: when vehicle enters then changes turnout and uses burst at same time. This causes remove route below itself. This is not problem at continuous line but it is not that. Solution: must separate enter line to 2 pieces and swich only 2nd.

See this: Step 1: "not connected" vehicles are right to left, first is slow, last is fast. All couplers and smooth off. Step 2: turnout is changed. First vehicle moves all other "not connected" vehicle to other route:

I changed this road, created a turnout. All tracks are inactive at begin, except light red. I uploaded layout at "Anlagen" you can check if you want.

This is true. But how to re-place not connected vehicles to other road on changed turnouts? This usually happens only at connected vehicles.

"the short track piece under the red circle is inactive." This is a turnout. Some tracks active, others inactive. But 95% of cases vehicle drive thru without problems. I think I catch the problem: vehicle has auto turnout burst. It seems it works all time when track starts a never commanded piece. Auto burst initializes all that kind then all OK. That case not exists enter piece, and turnout at other position. Vehicle enters, bursts turnout - and this case I think it not initializes other tracks. This may be the reason of malfunction. @Neo is this true?
