  1. How would this be set up in practice? Many Thanks.
  2. Hello Curt 84328, I am able to do this by using the name of a specific wagon. However I would like to retrieve the name of the wagon that entered the track, from 3D TS, and then run different actions depending on which wagon, Not Loco, has entered the track. I believe I can set up the Alternate Actions. It is retrieving the Wagon Name that is my problem. Of course you can do this by pre programming the sequence of wagons into the EV, but I want to do it by "Recognising" the current last wagon on the train.
  3. Hi ShPaul, Many thanks for all your help. Richard
  4. Hi Trevor, I downloaded the file and loaded it. Trains ran, for a short time, and then one train ran into the back of another, pushed it for some distance and stopped for good. Do you have to interact with the system at the Control Panel? I have tried to understand your system from the EV, without very much success. The "triggers" particularly I do not understand. I read the Wikis on EV and Variables and find no examples (that I Understand) of using variables, I have a very limited experience of Visual Basic, from which it seams to me, that variables are sometimes used as Properties in 3D TS. Can you give me an idea of "the system" you have "programmed" in the EV. Is there any more detailed documentation of Variables in 3D TS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would you have a layout with a more basic use of variables? Richard (3D TS Newbie). ?
  5. HI ShPaul, Many thanks for your comprehensive reply which must have taken quite some time to write. I am trying to replicate a Shunting (Switching) scenario in Event Manager (and Control Panel operation). Is it possible to detect when a (any) Coupling occurs i.e. when a wagon(s) are pushed into a stationary wagon or wagons? and then disable the Front Coupling on the wagon that was just coupled to the stationary wagon or wagons so that the train leaves minus its previously last wagon? Are you aware any other approaches to this scenario? Thanks again, Richard.
  6. Hello Everybody, Can somebody please inform me how to set up Uncoupling by 1/. Click with mouse, 2/. Switch linked to Uncoupler 3/. Event Manager. Many Thanks, Richard.
