Is there a way to build with realistic tracks and switches in V9?

I want switches with all the beautiful details like frogs, guard rails, moving switch rails and so on...

I don't like when tracks go through each other.

I have waited for this to come into the program by default.

I have written about this before, 4 years ago... so don't be angry at me...

Now it is version 9.

Why is it so hard to do?

Yes, there is!

For the rail system, use the category "model oriented" (and please ignore the inapt name of the category )
And for guard rails, frogs etc. you may add bits and pieces from the sub category "Accessories"

You may want to check out the layout "Keilbahnhof" from Alexander42 to find some examples

The V9 version is incomplete, the layout is still being built, albeit now in V9.5
But the V9 version already has many switch points fully equipped with guard rails etc.
