This is only a wish. I do not have a clue if it is possible, much work ...
With models that have a custom texture why not provide a pallet of colors in the catalog. ( just like that for tracks, but that is not usable, because specific for tracks ).
If we then use this color, we can publish, because it is in the catalog.
