I am currently working on a large and complex layout in 3D Train Studio and I am experiencing some performance issues. What are your best practices for optimizing large layouts to ensure smooth operation? Any tips on managing resources or specific settings that can help improve performance?

Use the Task Manager app to see if anything else is going on. Downloading or installing updates, any file syncing services, such as Dropbox or Google One, virus scans and other background apps. Microsoft Edge can update itself even if updates are turned off and even if you don't use Edge. Windows does not ask for your consent to do these things. Game mode can be a bit hit and miss.

I,m experiencing low performance also

New gaming computer running 13 to 16 FPS max  no matter if  graphics settings are low or high. Would be satisfied with 30-35 FPS ... then there is little "train Stuttering"

MSI intel i7 32 Gbytes memory

Windows 11, Direct X 12

Nvidia 4060 Ti with 8 Gbytes

2Tb disk
