the idea was that all switches would be changed.
all for the 'reverse'
and only those that got changed by the train passing, for 'restore'.
A very simple means of getting some variety without programming.

I have this strange connection.
This is the inner circuit of a large quadrangular layout in PECO track.
Trains happily go round the complete circuit including this connection but with a bump.
Each side of the circuit is identical track pieces.
And I have checked all altitudes are zero, and all other connections are good.
Can this be straightened?

My major request is for a symbol on track-joins to indicate whether 2 pieces of track are actually connected or merely very close.
However, I would also really appreciate...
select stretch (select all track attached to a piece of track)
flip vertically
flip horizontally
rotate
disconnect
lock height.
The following 3 programs are all very good track planning softwares. Maybe you could adopt some ideas from them. And or add the ability to import plans made by them at project start in 3DTS.

I have huge quantities of track laid down.
For now I would like it all at altitude zero.
But there seems to be no way to achieve that.
It seems to randomly change heights.
I have tried with both 'automatic height adjustment' enabled and disabled.
I have tried grouping sections of track and setting altitude to zero (z in properties). but they all change different amounts. i think from earlier setting to zero.
it will be a big task to change all individually. or relay the whole layout.

Suggestions, Requests, Feedback.
And to start it can I request that locomotive properties include...
"Restore changed switches" (ie after unlocking and passing)
And maybe, but not so important to me...
"Reverse passed switches"

do you mean just those 2 hornby pieces or the complete hornby and bachman sets?

you are missing some Peco pieces also. note st235 fourth radius.

I would like to make a request for Hornby and Bachman track to be added.
Especially the crossings R614 and R615.
Most other track can be substituted from PECO, but not these.
Does anyone know if I can substitute these from other tracks?

Two suggestions.
1. Station Labelling.
As far as I can see you cannot put signs with a station name chosen by yourself.
2. Underlay Import.
With some minor changes to the Mabstabs Tabelle model this should be possible. So that you can import a graphics file and build your layout on top. Then delete or hide when your layout is built. It would need some scaling/sizing capability. At the moment the mabstabs tabelle reshapes to the sign shape. If you could provide this tool it would address the issue of folk wanting to import layouts/plans built in other software.
