It would be nice to be able to choose whether the track you lay has track bed included or not by default and what texture map gets applied to your new tracks.  For Instance, I lay track that does not have track bed and uses Holz und Schotter (grau) instead of the default.   It gets tiring to change over 3000 pieces of track.

 

Hello Curt,

you need not to change the track texture piece by piece. You can select a group of tracks or even all tracks and then alter their texture in the same way as you change the texture for one single track.

Hi Curt,

in addition to BahnLand's suggest, you can also press CTRL + A for selecting all objects and then change the track properties in the property window, although non-tracks were selected.
