I am not sure if this is the right area for this or not.  Since I am currently running beta, I thought i'd take a chance.   Does the number of tracks, or the number of specially modified tracks affect MBS running correctly?  I have a very large number of tracks in my layout, and about 1/2 have been modified with the track editor.  I am also using a lot of EV events, and close to 60 track triggers (Train Enters a track).  Most of these are inactive most of the time, but about 25 are active all the time.  When I start MBS and try to run the track editor for the first time if freezes about 60%  of the time for around 30 seconds.  If I close the track editor and reopen it, it works after that.

the amount of tracks or events should not affect the time of opening the track editor. Can you provide your layout here so that I can test it on my system?

I don't know if it helps. but I could not get the MBP file to load properly in the beta version, so I reinstalled, skipping the beta and it loaded ok.

since reverting to the standard version,  everything loads ok, track editor does not stall or hesitate.
