I want to make my own "oberleitungs". In TS4 u can connect them and automatically a cable is drawn between them. How to do this in sketchup?

Hello Raf, i got no clue how to do that in SKP (the actual designing ok, but configuring the x-file i dont) but even so i am going to answer your post. I have thought of designing some "oberleitungs" also, but especially for tunnels and bridges. Those ones that are connected to the ceiling and dont need posts to support them. Is that what you have in mind ?

 

Hallo Raf, ich habe keine Ahnung, wie man das in SKP macht (das eigentliche Design ok, aber die X-Datei konfiguriere ich nicht), aber trotzdem werde ich deinen Beitrag beantworten. Ich habe darüber nachgedacht, auch "Oberleitungen" zu entwerfen, vor allem aber für Tunnel und Brücken. Diejenigen, die mit der Decke verbunden sind und keine Pfosten benötigen, um sie zu stützen. Hast du das vor?

Hi raf,

"Oberleitung" is a special Object and i guess the fix point for the cable (to connect automatically) is a special object within the modell.... but Neo did not publish the spezification

Would be nice to have the dimension of the actual cable and the RAL color (or other) number. 

Wäre schön, die Dimension des tatsächlichen Kabel und die RAL-Farbe (oder andere) Nummer zu haben.
