ronald.zaalberg59 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Since today I use 3D-ModelbahnStudio version 9. Now I notice that there is a problem with the routes all cars in one of my opened project are supposed to follow. They stop when approaching crossings or exits and can not start moving again. My roads are built using the components from the online library classified as 'Faller AMS'. Investigating the problems I found out that the splines in component Faller-AMS 4722, 4712A and 4712B ) are not correct anymore. Most splines do not have the correct position or rotation values anymore. In 3D-ModelbahnStudio version 8 these components worked fine. I can repair the values in the splines myself, but that will not help in the online catalog as it will be local copies only. I'm not sure if this problem is addressed here in the correct thema, but maybe somebody can help solving this problem. Tanks in advance.
Neo Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Hi Ronald, thank you for the report, I will have a look at the problematic roads and will repair them online. Kind regards, Neo
Neo Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Hi Ronald, I have now repaired the AMS tracks in the online catalog. Please note that the AMS tracks are not automatically replaced on your local layout. You can use the "Right click - Replace" feature to replace all broken AMS splines with only a few clicks. Kind regards, Neo
ronald.zaalberg59 Posted November 18 Author Posted November 18 Hi Neo, replace has no effect, but deleting the object and then inserting it again from the catalog does solve the problem. Thanks ! See video from this issue :
Neo Posted November 18 Posted November 18 vor 1 Stunde schrieb ronald.zaalberg59: replace has no effect You are right, tracks are one of these objects which cannot be repaired by using the Replace function. Kind regards, Neo
