Nutty Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Okay, so I have been playing the demo for a bit and am having fun. I tried to save the game and it says I cannot save, which I assume means I have gone over my limit on what I can add. However I have added quite a bit without thinking, and really don't want to lose it. Is there a way I can upgrade in game so I can save and not lose what I have already built?
Phrontistes Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) First click "settings", second click on your username. You should have the opportunity to purchase there. Edited January 11 by Phrontistes
Neo Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi Nutty, yes, you can always upgrade to the professional version. When saving a layout with more than 150 objects in the demo version, a dialog is shown where you can click on "Purchase 3D Train Studio" to upgrade to the professional version. Kind regards, Neo
Neo Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi Nutty, I've seen that you are using the Steam demo version. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to upgrade to the professional version, the full Steam version is a different application. But you can use the following workaround to save your layout for later use: Select a specific area of objects so that the remaining objects are less than 150 objects, press CTRL + X to copy them to the clipboard while removing them from the layout Save your layout to "Layout 1" Paste your cutted objects from the clipboard by pressing CTRL + V Go to step 1 und restart with another area of objects, saving the resulting layout to "Layout 2" At the end, you have a list of small layouts which you can later merge again to a single layout using the full version ("Paste from layout"). Kind regards, Neo
