For MBS, Blender and most other programmes, I've adopted the habit of saving successive versions (xxx_00, xxx_01, xxx_02 etc...) as a safeguard against sudden loss, for any reason. It has a second utility when I discover that I've made an earlier mistake, and need to go back a step or two. Once the project is finished and stable, I can delete (or, more usually, archive...) the now redundant files. I don't lose much these days.  Hope this helps.

Bei MBS, Blender und den meisten anderen Programmen habe ich es mir angewöhnt, aufeinanderfolgende Versionen (xxx_00, xxx_01, xxx_02 usw.) Es hat einen zweiten Nutzen, wenn ich entdecke, dass ich einen früheren Fehler gemacht habe und ein oder zwei Schritte zurückgehen muss. Sobald das Projekt fertig und stabil ist, kann ich die jetzt überflüssigen Dateien löschen (oder normalerweise archivieren ...). Ich verliere heutzutage nicht viel. Hoffe das hilft.
