I have a selfmade train which has several variations.

How can I set the variation of the train in the events window when the train hits a track or contact?

to my knowledge, model variations cannot be changed via EV command.

You could, perhaps, have several different trains, but only one visible at a time..?

What are the different variations? When it Is about the rotation of the Guest-Capsules, then that would be better done as an animation. You can move between points in the animation via EV.
