March 26Mar 26 Hello Given that there is no manual, I'm comming to you guys for some help with keywords. I undestand (I think) what they can do but I dont understand how to implement them. I'm try to use a keyword to set junctions and vehicle speed for a particular vehicle. I want a vehicle to turn at a series of junction but other traffic to continue straight on. I've tried all sorts of things but with no luck. Is using keywords the right way to go? If so what is the correct way to use then? I hope this all makes sence. Thank you in advance. But a keyword will do the trick too. right-click a car and select "Keywords/Variables" from the menu. Use the + button to add a new variable. Select the type keyword and give it a suitable name (depending on how you whant to differentiate who goes where) In the event manager, use a condition "variable exists" to distinguish which car stepped on the contact The "Variable (Extended)" is required, because you want to specify two aspects: the vehicle and the variable name. here's an english version of the example, which HWB Berlin pointed at. target assignment using keywords.mbp Unlike the other example, this one uses keywords to tell the cars apart Kind regards Goetz
March 26Mar 26 Author Berlin and Goetz Thanks guys Goetz after your sugestion of using a variable, I've decided to go down that route with a boolean variable as below. This seems to work ok. Berlin, I may try your example at a later date. I think it could work for my purposes
