simonjackson1964
Hi, it's that English guy who asks a lot of questions again... So, didn't there used to be a way to create a mountain by dragging a point up? Can't seem to find how to do that on V5...
HG Wüstenfuchs Hello @ simonjackson1964, it works just like it used to. Select the base plate, select the altitude mode (the mountain symbol in the properties window), set the grid size and gradient, then activate the altitude mode and shape the mountain. Kind regards Wüstenfuchs (Desert fox)
Goetz
further to Wüstenfuchs' explanation: keys worth memorising: left mouse button + drag: mark a new area (and lose old markings!) shift + left mouse button + drag up / down: raise / lower ground ctrl + left mouse button: add to marked area alt + left mouse button: subtract from marked area (w sharp edge!)
