Wie richten Sie ein Skript ein, damit ich ein Layout für Twitch steuern kann?  Ich glaube, es ist möglich mit dem angegebenen Instrument, aber ich weiß nichts über die Codierung

Good morning, Ken,

What's special about controlling a layout when streaming on Twitch?
You may control it in the same manner as you would without "twitching".

Kind regards
Goetz

Twitch is a streaming platform, so if I live stream my layout and let my followers control it. I think it will be neat.

I know Twitch,

that was the missing clue! And it is indeed a cute idea.

Unsure what is or isn't possible in that respect, I leave it to @Neo to explain.
The required menu on the start page is this one and the one below (Android).

But it's targeted at using two devices in one home network, for all I know.

Kind regards
Goetz

Hi,

you can connect to other 3D Train Studio instances by using the network control feature (see Goetz's post). But Goetz is right, while this feature technically supports Internet connections, it is currently targeted to local networks. You can still try this feature, just enter the public IP of the computer running the layout and make sure that your network configuration (router, firewall...) supports incoming connections (TCP and UDP ports 31285 and 31286).

A real multiplayer feature is scheduled for one of the next major versions of 3D Train Studio.

Kind regards,

Neo

you think i can try a third party v-router like hamachi?

I have no experience with v-routers, but the network control uses standard TCP and UDP (and supports both IPv4 and IPv6), so any VPN-like tool should work.

Kind regards,

Neo
