Brohltal-Eisenbahn (Ausflug in die Realität)

Hallo MBS-Fans,

Gestern konnte ich mal einen Ausflug in die Realität machen und mit der Brohltal-Eisenbahn (B.E. auch: Vulkan-Express) von Brohl-Lützing nach Engeln fahren. Die Strecke ist eine Schmalspurbahn (1000 mm). Laut Aussage von B.E. hat die Strecke zwischen Oberzissen und Engeln die höchste Steigung Deutschlands: bis zu 5% bei 200 Höhenmetern auf 5 km. Dies war mal eine Zahnradbahn-Strecke, bis um 1920 (glaub ich) stärkere Lokomotiven eingesetzt und die Zahnradstangen entfernt wurden. Die Fahrt hat sich gelohnt. Hier ein paar Fotos:
