Basic starting background floor

How does one change the "floor color" when starting a new layout? I have attached a photo screenshot. I am referring to the dark grey color underneath the "tabletop". Kind regards.

Hello @ern45,

please double-click to the floor and then select the properties. Here, you can change the texture as well as the color.
Klicke doppelt auf den Boden und wähle dann die Eigenschaften aus. Dort kannst Du sowohl die Textur als auch die Farbe wechseln.

You can also delete the floor if not needed.
Du kannst den Boden auch ganz löschen, wenn Du ihn nicht benötigst.

Ok I see what is required. One needs to use the primitive plain (full extensions) and then one can use whatever color or material ie. water, rock etc.

... musst Du umgekehrt selbst auch machen, wenn Du die "English speakers" ohne Deutsch-Kenntnisse erreichen möchtest.
Ansonsten:  Deepl oder Google translator oder ein anderes Übersetzungsprogramm benutzen.
... you have to do the reverse yourself if you want to reach the "English speakers" without knowledge of German.
Otherwise: Use Deepl or Google translator or another translation program.
