Curt84328 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Is it possible to take a 3d model created in MBS (from primitives) and convert it so that it includes the textures?
Neo Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Hi Curt, no that is not possible, because primitives are not designed to build models because of their high polygon count. Blender or other applications are better suited for building 3D models. Kind regards, Neo
Andy Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Curt, I still have this in my todo-list. I really would like to help Lothar to realize this. Still, with nearly no experience in Blender, I really would like to know, if there is a chance to build such a model just by the datas that I evaluated from the MBS-Model. I really would like to know if Blender/Sketchup or even the 3D Creator is able to build such a model (at least basically for further processing and optimizing) by some kind of batch-commands of setting such primitives. So that one has some kind of rough skeleton to work with in the end. regards Andy
