raf.sonneville Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Hi In version 3 i was able to import 3DS files, which I can't do anymore in version 4, only MBE files...How come? I work with sketchup and in that one you can't export an MBE file. So how can I import now my 3DS files in version 4? Thx
Neo Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Hi, the 3DS format is very old and has some flaws, why its support was removed in V4. You can use the DirectX exporter in sketchup to export to X files, which are supported by V4. Kind regards, Neo
raf.sonneville Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 Hi Neo. I tried this and it worked to make a .X file, but when i try to import in TS4 i get an error message saying ... The model could not be loaded, it has an unsupported format. What can be the problem? I tried with several models with which I had no problem before in TS3. Thx again.

Kind regards, Neo And exactly where do you mention it in the release-Notes ? 3DS ist still being used alongside .OBJ and .DAE for transferring meshes between different CAD Programs
