Now you're just showing off. Here in the UK it's definitely been a question of bin the sun cream and dig out the flippers and snorkel along with a fur lined dry suit. Our 7 day forecast shows cloud, cloud and more cloud with highs around 7 degrees and lows of 4 degrees, but then the reliability of our weather forecasters leaves much to be desired. One would think that with all of the modern electronic tech that they have at their finger tips they might just be a bit more accurate but our maxim now is see what it's like when you get up in the morning and keep your fingers crossed. That is usually more accurate.

Thanks Pete,
really not showing off... we don't want the heat and we don't like the heat.
You can't go to the beach because you melt your slippers and burn your feet and the roast cooks by itself on the bbq without any fire when you close the lid .
Nobody really wants 40 at Christmas and unfortunately our forecast is mostly spot on.
So we stay cool inside. And my best wishes to the UK and you.

Many thanks for the good wishes. It just goes to show how misguided our interpretations of events can be. There I was thinking that you would be lying back in the sunshine, a cool beer in one hand and a tasty turkey leg in the other just lapping up those warm rays of sunshine, but alas you seem just like me. Twenty to twenty five degrees is about my maxim and even then a cool beer in both hands!!!!
