JimKnopf Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Hallo zusammen, brauche mal wieder eure Hilfe.

Dad3353 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) I have a shunter that changes speed and direction and coupling/uncoupling, using global variables as 'flags'. At appropriate times, the relevant 'flag' is changed, and conditions in the Contact's Event dictate what the shunter has to do, sometimes with a string of commands (slow to a stop, uncouple from the front, reverse at 25 k/h, change 'flag' to 'Uncoupled', change 'flag' to 'Reversing', set points for the shunter's next move etc...). The whole process was to have the shunter take a train of wagons from one track to another, then come back for another branch, and again, until all trains were moved. Then take them all back, but to an different branch. The whole shunting cycle takes nearly half an hour; it's the lower part of the layout pictured. The trains on the left are sent to the right in turn, then each come back to the left... I have a shunter that changes speed and direction and couples/decouples using global variables as "flags". The whole process consisted of having the shunter move a wagon train from one track to another, then come back for another branch and again until all the trains were moved.
