If we have a Discord Server, we can chat together to help everyone and more

but if we not going to have one then we have try to help ourselves

Disclaimer : I'm now 72, and despite having spent several long careers in IT, in many roles, I am no longer able, nor willing, to keep up with the modern media whirlwind. It's no sooner 'indispensable' than it's 'obsolete', replaced by the Next Shiny New Thing.

I tried to access Discord, once, and wasted a couple of afternoons 'jumping through hoops', and ended up scrapping the idea. There are several communication tools that allow assistance, at several levels, such as this very Forum, private messaging, email, shared 'cloud' drives, 'Zoom' or 'Twitch' meetings and many more. I don't doubt that man make fine use of Discord; I for one will not be one of them, simply because I don't have all that much time or energy for intense virtual social activities. I'm old, and slow. Carry on, though if others agree to it; I'm fine with that.

Ich habe einmal versucht, auf Discord zuzugreifen, und habe ein paar Nachmittage damit verschwendet, „durch Reifen zu springen“, und habe die Idee schließlich verworfen. Es gibt mehrere Kommunikationstools, die Unterstützung auf mehreren Ebenen ermöglichen, wie z. B. dieses Forum, private Nachrichten, E-Mail, gemeinsam genutzte „Cloud“-Laufwerke, „Zoom“- oder „Twitch“-Meetings und vieles mehr. Ich bezweifle nicht, dass der Mensch Discord gut nutzt; Ich jedenfalls werde keiner von ihnen sein, einfach weil ich nicht so viel Zeit oder Energie für intensive virtuelle soziale Aktivitäten habe. Ich bin alt und langsam. Machen Sie weiter, wenn andere damit einverstanden sind; Ich bin damit zufrieden.
