I was able to figure it out.   You need to take the loop off and set a trigger to start the animation.  Without the loop feature, it plays one complete cycle and stops.   I have a scene where a locomotive hits a trigger track which opens the doors.  the loco goes into the shed, hits a trigger track to stop it and the same trigger closes the doors.

Where did the Base GO???   (Hint:  It is transparent)    No Matter where I click, I cannot select the base...    Try what you did to select an invisible object from before to select the base, Now click on Transparent to make the base visible again.

what RailroadLand (BahnLand) is trying to say is that there is a way to take a Double Switch and edit the settings so that it looks like a single straight piece of track.  when the train is stopped with the center of this special switch directly between two cars, you can then flip this switch (Via event) and disconnect the cars.

Some of you may already know this, but for those who don't, I thought I'd share some stuff I have learned.   We will start with a blank Panel and put down a piece of Track.  The Track is about 3 CM above the base. This is not normal for real railroads or for Model Railroads.   Below the window, you will see Controls.  Notice the Adjust Terrain Button.   It will raise track bed from the base to meet the track. We've raised the road bed to meet the rails, Now let's change the way that the rails look. Notice the circled area.   This is a track texture.   We will change it to Middle Brown Ties  Click Track Bed to take the gravel out, and since this track is abandoned, we will let it get overgrown with Ivy by painting Ivy Texture on the track and down the sides of the bed.   Comments?
