  1. Hello, in 3d Modellbahn there is a sound absorption coefficient adjusted to real size - so sounds are die away in 10-20 centimeters. Some case this is good but other case is not. If I check table in 3d view from distance then nearly zero sounds at all time. I suggest a sound absorption coefficient can be set as global variable connected to current table. Then all developer can set it to his design. Thank you in advance!
  2. Thank you, I checked many signals from this page. Earlier I had Piko signals in phisical form and I have a strong nostalgia. Also I wish check signals from some meters distance and side view among tracks "in situ", not track panel and also from vehicle cockpit. Do you have any other solution for this? I ask you to develop changes which you are also wish as customization and at least GBS2 Signal Hp/Sh/Zs. Then this can be switched on and off so everybody can choose as he likes. Thank you, in advance!
  3. I realised that problem is simplier than I thought. @BahnLand you have developed this signals, right? I ask for you 3 things if you also wish: - use an inflatable pole at these signals to enlarge them at customization. - use not only circles but raised (convex) lens on lights, clearly viewed at any directions not only 2d. - remove black backview from this objects. In that modifications this object become like Piko blocksignal. I know there are tons of light signals everywhere. But I have strong nostalgic feelings of my childhood. Thank you, in advance!
  4. I am using this too but it is a partial solution only. Full solution: active camera must react to turning commands from keyboard like free cameras.
  5. Every vehicle has the own camera. But developers often cares a little for it. Cameras are not in cockpit and driver can not see inner details like window or control panel. Some wagons camera has blank view (below the roof and no window). For example Scheduled bus developed correctly. I wish a possibility to move inner camera within vehicle to another place then fasten it (for this current vehicle only) like any other customizable property. A gismo can do the job. For example correct cockpit for steam vehicles in the linked picture. Thank you, in advance!
  6. In case of BR 58 vehicle if I link to it anything than this referenced by the pilot wheel so in curves everything slips left and right. I am not dunk but the feeling is the same.
  7. This camera is in vehicle and vehicle goes to depot. This costs to tenth of seconds the program processes this event and all freezes for this time including any graphics. Regardless camera is active or not.
  8. While a custom camera is not available its number is temporary removed from the main menu. This causes menu line writhe. This is awful confusing and catch the eye. Please do not remve number from menu. Instead of simply gray it. Thank you in advance!
  9. I wish this new event. This is porper to direct brake light, reversing light, volume or any animation speed like steam engine. Also make obsolete event "vehicle stopped" This event can correct automatically to "vehicle speed changed" with a condition: "currentspeed = 0 ?" Thank you in advance!
  10. I am also favour this. I think maybe develop a menu funciton for selected itens only. This marks all open connections on selected item(s). This is permanent, maybe linked to the object and can be erased on the same menu.
  11. There is a partial solution for this: layout.activeCameras[0] is the camera of the main window. If it is not a camera but a standard 2d/3d view than this function returns nil. Is there an event for camera change?
  12. Yes, this is another solution. Crane creates exact position on target and connects object to it. It is working only if road is straight and centered. After lowering vehicle can move away. That will be very useful if crane can use active paths inside of a road for target too. Pickup is working correctly. But instead of this - how can use wehicle position? I have a variable but how can get and manipulate for example the X position of any object?
  13. I do not want to lift turnout but vehicle on it. Lift is working but place to is not. In some cases needed to transfer vehicle to another road and this case lift animation is not needed.

  15. Greetings, I have similar question: how to display any readable property of layout.activeCameras[0] ? I think name, text, etc. I have a label but failed: $("GBS label").labels["Beschriftung"].text = layout.activeCameras[0] or $("GBS label").labels["Beschriftung"].text = layout.activeCameras[0].name displays nothing.
  16. I accepted the organization of this program and can use now. I also think no need to change the program, understood philosophy. But this is a very funny for me. I think if the vehicle is on the road because of it entered sooner. And no: not entered. Additionally some vehicles trigger this event normally while others not (different vehicle length). This is why I think a necesserity of warnings on documents.
  17. Leaving depot can not generate road enter event. If vehicle enters to more roads at once (because first is too short) than event of 2nd road also not triggered. It is a question of consideration but I think warning is required in all documents.
  18. I wish a special signal clearly visible from different views: At 2d/3d view snapped on rails and lay down like GBS2 signal Hp/Sh/Zs dockable. You can view from any point at once all signals on the layout. Any other view, cameras, etc. this form is hidden and signal appears like a normal sign. I prefer PIKO blocksignal: https://www.ritorno.hu/de/product/blocksignal-h0-886 If it is impossible to display different forms than maybe same form at different position and rotation: 2d/3d is lay down and other views are standing.   20. I wish to move more people on a single road free-lance (not the same group). Preferably do not impact on encounter in different side distance. It is not natural all single-file. Is there a solution for this?
  21. I wish to know if currently is a dedicated 2d/3d view active in main window or any cameras? Sounds are drastically different in that cases so it is important to know. Most effective is an event to inform me from this. Thank you, in advance!
  22. In case of crane can not lift object because of not enough space, currently occurs misbehave. I recommend this case do not attempt lift. Simply move object to destination as well it was hooked. The current developer makes enough space or accepts that kind of moving without lifting. Maybe develop a switch to use or not this method. --- Destinaton of crane currently the middle of the object. I recommend use active route if object is a turnout. Use same method like vehicle snapping to route. In case of more active route exist or a not turnout multiline route use any of that, always the same. In case of crane cannot reach the middle of the object also occurs misbehave. If it reach any part of object - or routes on object - I recommend use that. --- Event crane lift or lower is drastically different so I recommend use 2 different events. These are all serious work so I am glad to develop any of them.
  23. I know, recent theme. If you can not decide proper names, I recommend numbers or numberlike strings, like: "Fernlicht" -1, "Index left" -2, etc. This must be equal in all modells and Studio program also can use this all cases including when can not reach desired target currently. This must be a decision that any object which has that feature this number is accepted also to manipulate it. Thank you in advance, I know this is not easy to manifest.
  24. No, not this problem. No need to reassemble but simply pack it to a module named "script" like other scripts. Later can add other modules to it, so the final form shows some modules and an original script in original (script) form among newly created modules.
