  1. It's been released!! the full version of the Mountain Building Set is here (a new thread)
  2. Enclosed is a link to my Mountain Building Texture set (24 textures, image files, and related files) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IKyFJeOY-PzXhWinJud6ahtL0_zYIUMg/view?usp=sharing comments?
  3. Is there anyone here who would take documentation written in English and Translate it to German? I use some special methods for building a continuous mountain background.
  4. Are you talking about under extras > Screen Recording > Capture Video? it works just fine for me.
  5. I really liked the images with the trees, but they cut the tops off the mountains. I took an image of the trees, and placed it over one of the mountains. and placed it over one of the mountains. I totally love the finished image as there are places in my layout that need mountains and trees
  6. I was lucky enough to find the originals on disk and now have the full set available. Talking with Neo about sending the complete set to him.
  7. I often browse the catalog looking for a building that can be repurposed. Ich sehe oft den Katalog für ein Gebäude suchen, umfunktioniert werden kann.
  8. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1JjiY4ek801MDsF-W_uYgPNyMA4oM0POR https://drive.google.com/open?id=12XhiNLkpn6GuF7DAe6xe3YExN8p_2loW here are the 2 textures I used. they have to be adjusted on the panels or primitives to cut the bottom off. The copyright on these is owned by me, and I make it available to all MBS users.
  9. I plan to use it. It's actually 1 single picture taken last summer of mountains near my house. as such, I can upload it to MBS as well
  10. This will be the last report for a while. I am working on the Main Lower level now, around the area of Basalt. Work goes very slow on this level, with 20cm x 70cm being average for a day. it's hard to see, but the ground slopes gently down from the bottom edge of the picture to the tunnel. 14mm to 12mm. Roter Brummer, I love your Gras Endlos textur.
  11. denkst du, dass diese Textur brauchbar ist? es hat 4 Panels
  12. bottom 2 levels measure 975 cm by 305 cm. next level is about 1200 cm by 1000 cm and has varied heights for landscape, and scenery borders like this
  13. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nvVNC8xuZEQnKeLhxYCDPtZ8tp1bdyYz/view?usp=sharing
  14. Have added the second or Hidden Yard Level. This level goes on top of the parking level, and this view is from the mouth of the tunnel as it enters the Hidden Yard. Looking back at the tunnel and the return track. the Semaphore sign is one sided (cannot be seen from other side) headed towards the 5 track diagonal section 5 track diagonal ahead with switches The five track Diagonal section. The Green at the top is a cover for the level End of 5 track section and beginning of approach to East Basalt. Yes fmkberlin, those are your christmas lights behind the grate. The whole layout at this point is enclosed in a box. Walls are Primitive Square, and next level will go on top and be much bigger.
  15. Thanks, It works. I stored the OV for the train camera, and activated the overhead camera. The EV now knows which camera to activate at the end of the track.
  16. I find my memory faulty, so need some help. I have a section of my layout where I am changing from a camera mounted on each train to a single overhead camera. I want to store the name of the camera as a variable to activate later. I created an object variable (Camera) and assigned the name of the camera, when the train enters a track, I want to read the name of the train ($_Trigger1.name) and store the value assigned to object Variable Camera to another variable so that I can later activate the camera that I stored earlier. Does this make sense? What might I be missing
  17. while that is true (that textures must be supplied, you can create a zip of them and put it on a file sharing site. I already am using special textures, and plan to share privately
  18. IF you are making a trackside sign would you use a regular label or a custom texture and place it on a primitive? a Label is easier, but a custom texture on a primitive can be made to look nicer, and seen from the other side, a label is simply backwards whereas a primitive is invisible. Your opinion?
  19. Is there a way to save a group to a file? I have a group, 2 labels, and a primitive, that I would like to save to a file so that I can just paste it from file. currently I have to select it from a list, then copy and paste it.
  20. is anyone interested in some reskinned rolling stock. I have done a few for my layout. The new skin was applied using labels and Ebene.
  21. using a cube (Quader) Primitive for the walls worked nice. I decided to re-lable some locomotives. and the original,
  22. Ebene turns out to be one sided, texture only shows on one side. will try the cube (quader)
  23. If all else fails, there are archived copies in V4
  24. Had not thought of using a primitive. since you can paint a primitive with any texture, that would work, but maybe too much work as I already have what I wanted. here is what I have done. the long narrow strips form walls
