Is it possible to take a 3d model created in MBS (from primitives) and convert it so that it includes the textures?

Promontory Visitor Center

Will the V5 catalog be available to upload to when the New Beta is released? Also, Could we get a preview of the structure of the New Catalog @Neo? It would be helpful to know where Assets should go. When an asset (Texture, Sound, etc) is created (in MBS) does the program care if the asset is renamed when exported?

Vertical Sync in Graphics
FPS also refers to rendering operations or calculations. However, I discovered that without Vertical sync, you get tearing on the screen, and when the system starts to load, it glitches.

I had heard that having Vertical Sync checked in the graphics system tended to slow your frame rate down. Just as an experiment, I unchecked Vertical sync, and my frame rate jumped from 60 to 300.

Stopping a train when speed is Negative
Now I just need to add the two long blasts when the train starts. I already have the crossing signal, and the backing signal. This problem developed because I was trying to get the crossing signal in a certain place on my layout. Also got the running noise to start going backwards and forwards, and to stop when the locomotive stops.

Stopping a train when speed is Negative
I'm trying to stop a train at a certain point when it is running backwards (Speed is less than 0), but not when the train is running forwards. I am using train enters a track, with variable (the locomotive speed) being the and condition (< 0). The current speed is read by another routine, and shows a positive value when going forwards, and a negative value when moving backwards. currently the train stops both forwards and backwards. What is wrong?

Are you saying that the only storage device in your system now is an SSD? tell me about your system, how much Ram, are you using Virtual Memory, etc Sounds like you are having issues with graphics and probably memory allocation.

comparing variables
can the < and > be used to compare a variable against a set value? as in variable is changed, the variable is 119Speed, and the value >0 which should check if the 119Speed shows that the locomotive it was set from is moving?

Request for special figures of people
If anyone is willing, I have a special request for 3d models of some men. One model with some color variants should work just fine. I also agree with Henry. Sometimes running without smoke would be nice, but I think that it might require reworking a lot of the locomotives. Also, when a Steam Locomotive is standing still, it still smokes a bit.

since people seem concerned about embedded video, I thought I'd set everyone's mind at ease. I decided to just include a link to the video in the description and not ask for embedded. This project is turning out to be harder and bigger than I thought.- Golden Spike
The Information in this post is intended for those who are somewhat new to MBS. I've been working on the Monument and the barrier around it. The barrier is formed from Kugeln (for the bases), Zylindern for the main poles, and Kugeln for the caps. the chains are quaders Custom textures can be a wonderful thing to use, but be sure to import them into MBS and I recommend using a custom folder for them. using a custom folder for all custom textures makes it easier to Export them when you get ready to share your layout. (You will need to export them, and upload them to a file sharing site if you want others to see your layout properly) It's always a good idea to rename objects in your object list as it makes it easier to find what you are looking for later. viele Grüße Curtis- Sounds (and maybe Video)
