Hi Fullyboy, one way is as such: in the category "extra -> primitives" you'll find an object named "Ebene" Basically a flat square. Place this on your layout. In the properties menu of this object, select the cog wheel to edit the dimensions. Make them match your image aspect ratio select the brush symbol to enter the texture submenu. click on the yellow folder icon to open a bmp, jpg or png file. Hallo und willkommen, holger7 Nur der Vollständigkeit halber: Du drehst mit der von dir beschriebenen Methode nicht die Ansicht, sondern du drehst die Welt vor der Kamera. Da dir die mittlere Maustaste fehlt, bleibt dir leider nur der Weg über Tastaturkürzel. Lieben Gruß Götz

ja optisch gefiel mir das auch. Drum habe ich es wohl auch zeigen wollen, obwohl es technisch leider unsinnig ist. Die Spuren liegen nämlich bei Verwendung von "Spur folgen" tiefer (im Gleisbett) und müssen anschließend angehoben werden. Das macht es unhandlich. Und die Farben kann man einmalig wählen, aber nicht dynamisch an die Situation anpassen.

okay, alles klar. Danke für die Rückmeldung Du könntest auch die virtuellen Spuren nutzen, um farbige Linien draufzulegen. Die lassen sich umfärben und als paralleles Abbild deines Schienennetzes auf eine zweite Ebene verlegen. Ob das wirklich praktisch ist, kann ich noch nicht einschätzen. Die Verlegung ist (trotz neuem "Spur folgen") mühsam. Und es besteht die Gefahr, dass man Fahrzeuge versehentlich auf diese virtuellen Spuren setzt.

Wie viel Lua darf man dir zumuten? Ich habe noch keine konkrete Idee. Ich will nur im Vorfeld wissen, welche Mittel überhaupt in Frage kämen.
