Hi Douglas, another example: If you create a simple cube in blender it shows and calculates usually only 6 Faces, the Outside-Faces, cause there's no need to calculate inside-Faces in any Program because it takes computing power. So if you want to show the inside-Faces too you can select single Faces and "extrude" them (shortcut "E" in Edit-Mode"), (that makes a copy of that faces , youmay now change the direction of the "Normal") in the Edit-Mode or you can use the "Soldify Modifier" on the complete Mesh. To see all faces indicated inclusive the direction of the "Normals" you can select this here: (switchable in Edit-Mode only) this is the result, the blue lines indicates the direction of the "Normals" lg max

something else I noticed: try to reduce the size of your Texture, 4096*4096 is much to big because it takes much more resources to display, for that kind of model a resolution of 1024*1024 is big enough, provided you also want to publish the model sometime. lg max

Hallo No, it works perfect on *.pdf's....You know Copy/Paste ? You need 4 *.PNG's, for example: test_color.png, test_metallic.png, test_roughness.png, test_emissive.png. The important thing is that all of them need the same size and structure. So imagine you use the color.png for the colored material and all the other as template over the color.png. The brighter the metallic.png the more reflective the surface, the brighter the roughness.png the more matte the surface. For emissive you need an extra-aerea in the color.png and the template: the brighter the emissive the brighter the material and in the emissive you select the color of the material while in the color.png this aerea should be dark. lg max

Hallo Hans Das ist ein Problem das nicht zu lösen ist, deshalb gibt es auch an den Enden der Balge keine Farbmarkierungen da es nicht möglich ist es so hinzubringen ohne störenden Einfluß durch Überlappung. Ich hatte auch verschiedene Versuche angestellt diesen Balg mit dem _WheelSet zu koppeln, Ergebnis: kontraproduktiv. Leider muß man damit leben, einzige Möglichkeit ist eben die Radien so klein als möglich zu halten, und an den Kehren das Ganze nicht sichtbar zu machen. lg max

Hallo Hans, wenn der Kaiserwagen ferig ist wird es von mir auch ein Schienen-Spline geben mit Andockpunkten für die Stützen. Was über EV/LUA möglich ist kann ich dir nicht sagen, da muß dir ein Spezialist hier antworten. Teilweise lassen sich die Beschriftungen ändern solange diese keine Emissive-Textur beinhalten (d.h. kein Leuchten). Du kannst aber jederzeit eine Beschriftung selbst draufkleben. lg max

Noch eine Frage @Neo: Das ich auch vorhabe irgendwann demnächst teilweise meine älteren Modelle auf V6 zu modernisieren, falls notwendig (muß das erst mal selbst prüfen) , diese dann in der neuen DB hochgeladen werden stehen sie dann in V5 nicht mehr zur Verfügung? lg max

Hallo @Neo, grundsätzlich ok,... Was ist mit den derzeit in der Warteschleife stehenden Modellen? Wo sieht man das zur Verfügung stehende Kontingent? Lässt sich ein einmal veröffentlichtes und geprüftes Modell auch nachträglich ändern und updaten? (inkl. Check deinerseits selbstverständlich) lg max

Hallo Tom, also dein System ist momentan etwas Mittelfeld, das Problem derzeit bei dir ist: Alles was du momentan updaten würdest wäre ein Ausschlag eines Systems nach oben, nur der Rest kommt dabei nicht mit, d.h. solltest du dir eine neue Grafikkarte einbauen würde die zwar auf Leerlauf die Leistung bringen, aber von hinten kommt nichts und die kommt nicht zum Schwitzen, oder anders gesagt: Schau ob du irgendwo ein Komplettsystem neueren Datum's bekommst, bei dem alle Komponenten zusammenpassen (Komplettsystem Versandhandel) dann hast du sicher mehr Freude, aber nur meine Meinung. lg max
