Hi Douglas, the draft is not inspected by Neo, but surely times out. The purpose is to discuss the model with others, let them test, workout the echo and so on. Once you are satisfied, you publish it one time again, but this time not as a draft. You have to choose a destination folder then. Then it gets frozen in the catalog, appears in Neo's todo-list and waits for Neo's check. Either it gets accepted by him and published permanently in the catalog, or you will get an answer what is still to be done to fit the quality standards. This can take a while (even months!), but it stays until then and can be used by the layouts of the others. Hope it turns on a light for you now, you're on the right way! You will still have the rights to delete the models in the catalog, but I hope there never will be a reason for. They would vanish in the others layouts who use your models. Gruß Andy

Please don't give up Douglas, we are all old here. Sadly, the new ID shows simply nothing... - but why should there be new ID? You surely did overwrite the 'mono'-version with that one with the brush that is shown in the picture of your catalog. If you move the mouse over the thumbnail, does the line appears like that one in my pic (published as draft?)?

No, here it comes same as for Herman. Without any variations. If it had, you could see the brush-symbol. Means: you should not update from the modeleditor, but from this thumbnail in your 'my 3d models'-folder. (The modeleditor never goes directly to the internet! It should ever go to you 'my 3d models'-folder). I don't know about publishing textures - if they need to be confirmed by Neo too, no idea. greets Andy edit: about custom textures. of course you can put it in your private textures-folder, but for a specific model it never will make its way to the internet catalog. This one is preserved for materials etc., not for models. For different colors you really have to make a variation for each color! Custom textures are (like an animated model that will never be published except for a draft that vanishes after 30 days) pretty useless for people that will put their whole layout into the catalog for all people, because you really had to share the texturefile outside of MBS and everywhere it is used, a final layout will show a standard texture!

Hi Doug, this one with variants is in your own Catalog (My 3D models). Once a model is created, it moves to that part of the catalog, and it gets an ID, if it gets uploaded later or not. And it will keep this number, if uploaded or not. But this area is your private area, you have to update it again to the internet - that's it. The model got the same ID as before, but differs now from your private area and the internet. That's it. Means: you should upload it again by the button within the thumbnail. greetings Andy p.s.: never delete it from that folder again, because this identifies you as the owner (and tells you if it differs from the internet version) - and it won't be deleted in the internet anyways without forcing that. Means: the folder 'my 3D models' is your workbench and also your archive.

Hallo Brummi, *grins* als ich Deinen Post heute früh gelesen habe, lief gleichzeitig im TV Olympia, die Mädels in der Halfpipe. Die können soviele Drehungen in mehreren Achsen in der Luft machen, wie sie wollen. Wenn sie dabei nicht kurzzeitig mit der Hand ans Brett (Ski oder Snowboard) gehen, gibt es kaum Punkte! Das ist halt so. In dieser Form hat es das Modell bei Faller aber nicht gegeben, oder? Bei Suche nach 'Hotel Kaiserhof' finde ich nur Lothar's Volksbank. Gruß Andy

Hallo @Wüstenfuchs, anregende Photos. Sowas kann in Variation auch als Bankautomat durchgehen. (Wilden) (Sperr)Müll brauchen wir hingegen nicht unbedingt. Auch wenn der z.B. bei mir in der Gegend verdammt oft vorkommt. Unser MBS soll schöner werden Immer wieder schöne Modelle kd! Aber hatten wir nicht schon mal eine Parkuhr? Mit MBS-Dollar-Einwurf?
