Geschrieben 12. November 20186 J Autor The staging yard was too boring a concept. So I have replaced it with an Alp pass station that all trains have to drive through. This is a very early view without details and final textures in place. Kind regards, Nebaru Bearbeitet 12. November 20186 J von henricjen

Geschrieben 27. November 20186 J Autor Concept for the final station taking form. This will be a "Rhein" end station with a busy river harbor. This will also be the "Parade strecke" of the layout. Bearbeitet 27. November 20186 J von henricjen -
Geschrieben 30. November 20186 J Autor So central to the "Rhein" part of the layout are the Grapewines (Weinrebe) Here an early concept of their look on the slopes. Suggestions very welcome Bearbeitet 30. November 20186 J von henricjen
Geschrieben 1. Dezember 20186 J Hello @henricjen, that looks great! It is very realistic. I like your layout very much. Many greetings Brummi
Geschrieben 1. Dezember 20186 J vor 11 Stunden schrieb henricjen: are the Grapewines Hi henricjen, not long ago I requested a texture for that. But this Isn't just a texture, am I right? greets Andy
Geschrieben 1. Dezember 20186 J Autor Thanks all and to Andy; No, it is indeed 2 3D items and a texture from the online database: "Hoher Laubbaum" reduced to size 0,2, "Wooden fence" turned upside down and the texture "Waldboden_erde" And then a lot placement work Gruss, Henrik
Geschrieben 1. Dezember 20186 J Great! I love all those 'special' solutions that people are able to find. Perhaps the hint that a rough placement of a lot of same objects could be done with a plugin that is available! Don't know if you are aware of this. greets Andy

Geschrieben 5. Dezember 20186 J Ah, I see a thing that looks a little bit like the mouse tower. So it's getting a touch of 'Rüdesheim'. I bet you can make wonderful pictures from normal human viewing perspective. Gruss Andy
Geschrieben 6. Dezember 20186 J Autor Hi Andy, I have had the great pleasure of visiting Rüdesheim years ago and loved the town. So I had to open a "Biergarten" on the main street Well, more of a "Weingarten"... And then bring us to human viewing perspective. First beer or glass of wine is on me, all are invited
Geschrieben 7. Dezember 20186 J Hello henricjen, They just look great. Gratularion. greetings FeuerFighter
Geschrieben 8. Dezember 20186 J Autor Vinter is here and Christmas approaching. Love snow and had to create a concept for the 4th module; "Ewiger Schnee" (Eternal snow) This is very early without real mountain shapes, textures and buildings. Only a lot of "Gleiswendel" And with Roter Brummers wonderful little electric "nebenbahn" electric locomotive and wagons there will be transport to the very top... Bearbeitet 8. Geschrieben 8. Dezember 20186 J Hi @henricjen, you're the Rolf Knipper of the model train Studio. What you are showing here is actually approaching the quality of this artist of model design. Many greetings Brummi
Geschrieben 9. Dezember 20186 J Autor Hi Brummi, those are very kind words. I think far too kind but thank you. Rolf Kniper is a legend in layout design and painting. I just like to paint in 3D Here the first concept of the snowline (Schneegrenze). This is very difficult to get to look decent. But I will continue to work on it. One challenge is the lack of your great looking low poly "Blautanne11" in a winter version. Do you still have the 3D model and texture available? I mean if so, perhaps someday a winter version could be created... Gruss, Henrik Bearbeitet 9. Dezember 20186 J von henricjen --
